BACKGROUND |

Pertimbangan penetapan Keppres 12 tahun 2020 tentang Penetapan Bencana Nonalam Penyebaran Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) sebagai Bencana Nasional adalah:
a. bahwa bencana nonalam yang disebabkan oleh penyebaran Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) telah berdampak meningkatnya jumlah korban dan kerugian harta benda, meluasnya cakupan wilayah yang terkena bencana, serta menimbulkan implikasi pada aspek sosial ekonomi yang luas di Indonesia; b. bahwa World Health Organization (WHO) telah menyatakan COVID-19 sebagai Global Pandemic tanggal 11 Maret 2020; c. bahwa berdasarkan pertimbangan sebagaimana dimaksud dalam huruf a dan huruf b, perlu menetapkan Keputusan Presiden tentang Penetapan Bencana Nonalam Penyebaran Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Sebagai Bencana Nasional. |
Consideration of the stipulation of Presidential Decree 12 of 2020 concerning determination of non-natural disaster Spread of Corona Virus (COVID-19) as National Disaster is:
a. whereas non-natural disasters caused by the spread of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) have resulted in an increase in the number of victims and property losses, the wider coverage of the affected area, as well as having implications for broad socio-economic aspects in Indonesia; b. whereas the World Health Organization (WHO) has declared COVID-19 as a Global Pandemic on March 11, 2020; c. whereas based on the considerations as referred to in letter a and letter b, it is necessary to stipulate a Presidential Decree concerning the determination of the non-nature Spread of Corona Virus (COVID-19) as National Disaster. |
